We usually use the DEA(112 as the start code) and DEMA(113 as the start code) versions of these cylinders. DEA is a damped double acting cylinder (non-magnetic). We always recommend working with a version that has end damping. This is to prevent damage, when working at full pressure without end damping, and without flow controllers, the cylinder can be damaged, because it then runs at full speed against its end stop. The DEA and DEMA versions therefore have standard end damping, which prevents that problem. DEMA has 1 advantage over the DEA, and that is that the piston is magnetic. This allows you to detect the position of the piston with reed contacts or other magnetic sensors. This can be useful when you want to be 100% sure in an automatic system whether the piston is really on or off.
