Tips: How to prevent the generation of brush sparks in a worm gear motor
- The commutation pole can be installed, which is offset by the potential of the commutation pole.
- The brush should be selected reasonably, the contact resistance between the brush and the surface of the commutator should be as large as possible, and the wear resistance of the brush should be good.
- The pressure of the brush should be adjusted well. If the pressure is too tight, it will aggravate the wear of the brush and commutator. However, if the pressure is too loose, the contact between the brush and the commutator will be poor, which will cause some problems. The inner surface of the brush holder box should be smooth and flat, without burrs and other problems, and the inner hole roughness should be less than 2um.
- The material and model of the brush should be choosen correctly, which is generally determined according to the operating conditions of the generator.
- The number of positive and negative brushes should be equal, and during the installation process, the brush distance between the brushes should be equal, and the contact between the brushes and the collector ring should be good.
