1. General Precautions for Tapping Machines
- Before installation, wiring, operation, maintenance, or inspection of the machine, be sure to read the user manual thoroughly and operate correctly based on the understanding of the manual's content.
- Follow the instructions on the warning labels attached to the machine.
- During operation, keep the user manual nearby or in a place where the operator can easily see it for reference at any time.
- If the user manual is lost or damaged, contact the nearest office of our company to purchase a replacement.
- When working around the machine, always wear protective gear such as a safety helmet, safety shoes, and protective glasses.
- When removing chips, be careful not to touch the chips with bare hands to avoid injury.
2. Precautions for Installing and Setting Up the Tapping Machine
- Securely fix the machine with locking screws during setup.
If the screws are loose, the machine may fall, causing serious injuries and major accidents like machine damage.
- Controllers and electrical accessories must not be used in high temperature, high humidity, wet, corrosive gas, or flammable gas environments, nor in environments with a lot of dust. This may cause malfunctions, electric shocks, fires, or explosions.
- Ensure that controllers and electrical accessories are not subjected to impacts, which can cause mechanical failures.
- As a rule, operations other than downward, downward inclined, and horizontal processing directions are not permitted. If other directions of processing are required, please contact the nearest sales office.
3. Wiring Precautions
- Correctly connect all wires of the controllers and terminal blocks to avoid faults and malfunctions that could cause personal injury.
- Do not connect external voltage to the motor power supply terminals (U, V, W, E) on the controller side terminal block and the motor side power connector. Otherwise, it may cause malfunctions or fires.
- When connecting an inductive load to the output circuit, be sure to parallel a freewheeling diode to prevent faults.
4. Precautions When Using the Tapping Machine
- Before operating the machine, confirm that there are no people within the machine's operational range.
- Do not approach or touch the machine within its operational range while it is running, as it can cause personal injury.
- If the machine exhibits abnormal conditions such as smoke, strange odors, or unusual noises, immediately cut off the power supply and contact our company for repairs. Ignoring abnormal conditions and continuing to use the machine may result in faults and electric shocks.
- Do not operate the controller and electrical accessories with wet hands to avoid electric shocks.
- Do not touch the motor and controller heat sink during the power-on state to avoid burns from high temperatures.
- When an alarm occurs, be sure to identify the cause, clear the alarm, and ensure safety before performing a reset operation to restart.
- Replenish the specified lubricant within the prescribed time. Failure to do so may cause mechanical failures.
- During operation, wear non-slip shoes and regularly clean up any oil to avoid slipping.
