Tips: The Starting Methods of 5.5hp (4kW) 3 Phase Asynchronous Motor with Clutch.
1. Soft start
With the rapid development of microcomputer control technology, a number of electronic soft start controllers have been successfully developed in the related control engineering fields, which are widely used in the motor starting process, and the buck starter has been replaced. The current electronic soft start facilities are using the thyristor voltage regulation circuit, whose circuit composition is described as follows: six thyristors are connected in series to the three-phase power supply after two anti-parallel connections, and after the system sends the start signal, the microcomputer-controlled starter system immediately performs data calculation, so that the thyristor delivers the trigger signal, which enables the thyristor conduction angle to be controlled, and the output voltage is adjusted according to the given output to realize the motor control. The output voltage is adjusted according to the given output to control the motor. This starting method is suitable for starting and controlling three-phase AC asynchronous motors of various power values, including six and three connections.
2. Direct start
This starting method is the most basic and simple one among the motor starting methods. Firstly, the motor is connected to the grid with the help of knife switch, and then the motor starts and runs under the rated voltage, which is characterized by low investment, simple equipment and low quantity.
3. Reduced voltage starting
Due to the disadvantages of direct starting, voltage reduction starting is created. The starting environment for this starting method is no-load and light-load. Since the buck starting method is realized to limit the starting torque and starting current at the same time, the circuit needs to be restored to the rated state after the starting work is finished.
