W6001001001 STP-U 1/8 108 Unidirectional Threaded Stop Valve

Stop valves are mounted on the cylinder inlets allow a flow of air only in the presence of a pneumatic pilot. Unidirectional and bidirectional versions are available. The item is mainly used as a safety valve. When pressure drops in the pneumatic pilot, all cylinder movement is halted.

What we offer here is the unidirectional stop valve. This halts the flow only in one direction. This can be useful for pistons working against gravity. For safety reasons often you do not want the load to fall. But also for safety reasons most often, you do not want the cylinder to be stuck in both directions, as someone could be trapped below load. With a unidirectional version this problem is solved. Since the load can’t fall, but it can be lifted. Please keep in mind that each application requires its own risk assessment.
