Sensor/actuator control cabinet feed-through, plug-on socket, 8-pole, M12, shielded, bipolar mounting/screw mounting with M16 thread. These can be useful when you need to go through a panel but want to be able to unplug the device. This 8-pin connector is an industry-standard item. We see these types of components regularly in CNC systems when an M12 encoder cable has to go through a panel. Then you can work on both sides with a standard cable & connector. EMC wise this is then completely correct, and it also looks neat.
