W1580250200 Gripper with 2 long-stroke jaws P4-25, stroke 2x30mm, F=280N

These are grippers with 2 parallel long-stroke jaws. The mechanical design makes them suitable for clamping bulky parts. All grippers, except for the smallest ones, can mount a retracting magnetic proximity sensor. The type we offer here is the W1580250200. It has a total stroke of 60mm. The clamping force is 280N at 6.3Bar. The clamping pressure can be reduced, by reducing the system pressure. The jaws are interlinked, and thus are always self centering. An internal gearset is used to achieve that. Most often these grippers are used in part handling applications, the long stroke helps, to grip a wide range of parts. We have used them also for part holding in CNC machines. This works if the cutting forces are not larger then 280N. Applications like light milling or engraving are OK, not suitable for heavy machining. SOCOJE, has other grippers, that have a much higher holding force, these do have a very short stroke. So are less flexible.
